Description
This felt wool ornament was handmade by a women-led, women-run cooperative which operates in the mountainous villages across Kyrgyzstan. This cooperative is Fair Trade Certified which means every purchase supports the artists fairly while empowering them economically and socially. Many of the artisans provide the primary source of income for their families and earn 5X the average wage of people in Kyrgyzstan.
