Our Story
On Thanksgiving Eve of 2009 at a little bar called the Cowpony in Tucson, AZ, Jacqueline and Tara met. While Jacqueline has been in the beauty industry and Tara in publishing, both have worked in product testing, development and launch. With a passion for people, the planet and a desire to build community, they decided to put their skills to work.
Together they are building a place where people can find products that have a bigger message than how they perform and a community full of support and laughter, and that place is The Edit Co.
The two united on a journey to bring you small batch clean beauty products, supplements with a side of humor and much more.
We know it can be daunting (and at times, unclear) trying to be more aware in the non-toxic clean world and we’re here to help!

Our Founder
Growing Fast
Jacqueline started in cosmetology in 2000 and hasn’t looked back. Working in salons and spas until she opened her first salon at the age of 27. She’s an educator and coach for prestigious hair care companies. She has a passion for finding products that have a cleaner approach to beauty with a clean footprint to follow.

Setting Industry Standards
Tara started in retail management in 1998 and moved into publishing and tradeshow operations in 2007. Through this time she has managed, built and grown individuals, products and companies within many diverse industries from automotive and technology all the way to gourmet food.
